芝生の上でボールが目の前を転がっていく。
敵将が掴みかけている。
渡してはならじ、身を挺してボール目掛けてダイブした。

見事に跳んだのだろう。
いきなりベッドから落っこちて目が覚めたた。見事な落下であった。
今朝の４時である。ベッドから落ちたのは初めてだ。
ボールの取り合いは昔のラグビー体験である。

ベッドの端っこに寝ていたのかもしれない。
落ちそうになって飛んだのか？

昨夜のなでしこ―イタリー戦の終了直前、わがゴール前でイタリー選手が見事なダイビングヘッドを見せた。
地表１２０ｃｍの高さで、地面に完全に平行な一本の線になって彼女は飛んだ。見事なダイビングヘッドだった。
得点にはならなかったが実に美しいダイブであった。
その残像が頭に残っていたのか？
